Introduction

When a professor creates Zoom Meetings for courses from within Canvas, the link to the Zoom Meeting, the start time, and the recordings links can be found in Canvas course.


Where can I find my class Zoom meeting link in Canvas?

  1. Go to canvas.biola.edu.
  2. Log in with your NetID & password.
  3. Click Courses.
  4. Click your desired course.
  5. Click the Zoom option in the navigation bar.

Note: You can view more meeting information by clicking the meeting name under the "Topic" column.

What will I see in Canvas?

Single Canvas Course with Single Section


Scenario: A single Canvas course containing a single section.

What You Will See: One Zoom meeting will be created imported into the Canvas course.


Single Canvas Course with Multiple Sections


Scenario: A single Canvas course containing multiple course sections. This can occur if a Faculty is teaching multiple course sections and has moved/consolidated them all into a single Canvas course.

What You Will See: One Zoom meeting will be created for each course section and imported into the single Canvas course they belong to.


Single Canvas Course with Two Cross-listed Sections


Scenario: A single Canvas course containing two cross-listed courses.

What You Will See: One Zoom meeting will be created and imported imported into the Canvas course.
