This page shows how to reclaim host rights of a Zoom meeting you own when another user or a Zoom Classroom is listed as the primary host.
Step | What to do | What it looks like |
---|---|---|
1 | Join your course's Zoom Meeting* on your laptop/desktop computer. | |
2 | Click the Participants menu option. | |
3 | Click the More option at the bottom of the pop-up window. | |
4 | Click Reclaim Host. | |
5 | Hover your mouse over the Zoom Classroom name on the participant list and click the More option that appears. | |
6 | Click Make co-Host |

1 | Join your course's Zoom Meeting* on your laptop/desktop computer. | |
2 | Touch Manage Participants on the Zoom touch panel. | |
3 | Touch your name on the participant list. | |
4 | Touch the Make Host option. | |
5 | Confirm that you would like to transfer host rights. | |
6 | Hover your mouse over the Zoom Classroom name on the participant list and click the More option that appears. | |
7 | Click Make co-Host | |
8 | Confirm that you would like to assign the classroom co-host rights. |
