This page includes the two methods for starting a Zoom Meeting for a scheduled class — 1) in a Zoom enabled classroom, and 2) on a computer.
Important Notes for those using a Zoom enabled classroom:
What to do: | Press Start on the Zoom Classroom touch panel. Note: This button will only appear five minutes before the scheduled start time of a course's Zoom Meeting. | |

Step | What to do |
---|---|
1 | From your computer, open your browser and navigate to canvas.biola.edu. |
2 | Log in using your NetID & password. |
3 | Navigate to your course. |
4 | Click the Zoom menu option on the left-side of the browser window. |
5 | Click the meeting Topic (typically course code). |
6 | Click Start next to the meeting you would like to join. Note: A Zoom meeting window will open and start your meeting. |
7 | When the meeting begins, you will be asked to connect your computer audio. Click Join with Computer Audio (unless you are joining the meeting from a Zoom Classroom to manage breakout rooms). |
